Alexandre Takes Copp Down

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

According to the table, Jean-Francois Alexandre raised to 450,000 and it folded to Justin Copp who pushed for around 2,100,000. Alexandre tanked for a minute and made the call.

Copp held {a-}{q-} versus Alexandre with {j-}{j-} for a flip situation, and the flop fell {a-}{x-}{q-}, giving a pair of queens to Copp. However, the {10-} turn and {k-} river came, giving a runner-runner straight to Alexandre who stood up from his chair.

Copp made his way to the exit while Alexandre added the chips to his stack, saying jokingly "I'm telling you, I'm not taking that flight tonight. My wife is not happy, but she will be after I win that tournament!"
