Wickersheim Chipping Up

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

With three-handed action after the second draw, a player in the small blind put out a bet and was called by Daniel Ospina in the big blind and Colin Wickersheim from under the gun. The small blind stood pat on the final draw and Ospina and Wickersheim each drew one card, bringing the last round of betting. The small blind bet and Ospina quickly folded, bringing action to Wickersheim who put in a raise.

The small blind made the call and Wickersheim tabled {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-}, with a six-low good to take down the pot.

Yoon Coolered By Pritchard

A-5 Triple Draw

Brian Yoon and James Pritchard were in a battle of blinds after the first draw and Yoon bet. Pritchard raised and Yoon made it three bets, with Pritchard calling. Both players were pat after that, with Pritchard calling bets on the last two streets.

Yoon said "six-five" and Pritchard responded with "six-five perfect?"

That's because that was the only one that beat his {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-} but Yoon had an inferior {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{a-}.

"So sick," Pritchard said.

Ickow Outkicks Turner

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jon Turner opened with a raise from the cutoff and was called by Todd Ickow in the big blind. On the first draw, Ickow drew one card and Turner three. Ickow bet and Turner called, leading to the second draw where Ickow stood pat and Turner drew two. Ickow then bet again and Turner again called. The final draw saw Ickow stand pat and Turner take one card. On the final round of betting, Ickow bet again and Turner made the call.

Ickow announced he had a six-low and Turner said he also had a six. He turned over {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-} and Turner mucked his hand, stating that Ickow had the better six.

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

On the first draw, the big blind took four, Todd Brunson took two and the cutoff took two. Brunson bet and both opponents called, with everyone taking half the cards they drew last time. Action checked to the cutoff, who bet. Brunson was the only caller and he took a final card against his pat opponent.
