Big O

From early position, David Oberstein put out a bet for 2,500 on a {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} turn, getting calls from Patrick Leonard and Felipe Duarte in the blinds.

The river fell {5-Spades}, Oberstein slowed down with a check, and both opponents also checked. Leonard showed {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, taking the high with aces up, while Duarte turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} to win the low using his {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Greenstein, Morgenstern Chop it Up

Level 11 : 300/600, 0 ante

Big O

Plenty of big pots have unfolded on the first level of Day 2, with a whole lot of chops to go around.

The latest split pot came on a hand that saw Anton Morgenstern, from early position, bet 3,500 on the {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop. Barry Greenstein called on the button, and Martin Zamani bowed out on the big blind.

The turn brought a {4-Diamonds}, Morgenstern continued for 12,700, and Greenstein called again. The river came {7-Spades}, Morgenstern went all-in and Greenstein called.

Morgernstern showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}, taking the low with his {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, while Greenstein showed {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{x-} to take the high with trip sevens.
