Patrick Leonard Eliminated in 11th Place ($12,201)

Level 27 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Big O

John Evans limped under the gun, Anatolii Zyrin overlimped on the button, Aron Dermer called as well and Patrick Leonard potted for 125,000 from the big blind. Evans called and Zyrin tanked before repotting for 545,000. Dermer escaped and Leonard called for his remaining chips, playing around 500,000. Evans had no further business in the hand.

Zyrin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Leonard: {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Leonard was hoping for a low board but he wouldn't get one as the dealer rolled out the {10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Zyrin took down the large pot, eliminating Leonard in 11th place.

Evans Hits a House

Level 27 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

Big O

John Evans called for 25,000 from the cutoff, and the players in the blinds came along to see the {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. Iori Yogo bet 35,000 from the big blind and Evans called before Sean Yu folded.

Both players checked after the {5-Diamonds} it the turn, and Yogo checked again. Evans fired for 75,000 and Yogo sat silent for 30 seconds before called.

Evan revealed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a full house and Yogo mucked.

Two Scoops for Zhu in O8

Level 27 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Alan Sternberg raised in the small blind and Yueqi Zhu called.

Sternberg bet on {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Zhu called again.

The {9-Clubs} turn was checked and Zhu called one more bet on the {10-Hearts} river, leaving himself with fewer than one bet.

Zhu, however, scooped as he tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Sternberg mucked.

On the following hand, Zhu scooped again with two pair and a nut low against [Removed:146]'s aces, and he vaulted close to 1 million.

Yogo Extends His Lead

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

The flop was down {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, and the action checked to Iori Yogo in the cutoff who bet 40,000. Patrick Leonard called from the big blind before Sean Yu raised to 80,000. Both opponents called, and they saw the {9-Spades} hit the turn.

Leonard checked, and Yu bet 80,000 before Yogo raised to 160,000. Leonard got out the way, but Yu stuck around and saw the {6-Clubs} river.

Yu then check-called an 80,000 bet but mucked after Yogo flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Sternberg and Guerfi Chop Donev's Money

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

[Removed:146] raised to 60,000 under the gun and he found callers in James Van Alstyne, Ivo Donev, and Alan Sternberg.

Sternberg checked the {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} flop and Guerfi fired 200,000. Van Alstyne folded but Donev called and Strernberg jammed his 587,000.

Guerfi reshoved and Donev stood up, but he eventually released his hand, allowing for a heads-up showdown.

Guerfi: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Sternberg: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Both had a flush draw but the {10-Clubs} turn and {6-Diamonds} river resulted in a chop as Guerfi claimed the high half while Sternberg finished with the nut low.

Zyrin Wins Another

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Anatolii Zyrin raised from the hijack, and Sean Yu defended his big blind to see a {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop.

Yu check-called a 40,000 bet from Zyrin, and the turn fell the {j-Spades}.

Yu checked again, and Zyrin saw his 80,000 bet called.

The river revealed the {6-Diamonds} and Yu check-called for the third and final time, again for 80,000.

Zyrin flipped over {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and Yu mucked.

Zhu Folds King-High Flush

Level 26 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Big O

Ivo Donev raised his button to 40,000 and Yueqi Zhu called in the big blind.

The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop ceased fire but Zhu led out 54,000 on the {2-Spades} turn. Donev stood up and said, "I raise pot," and Zhu folded, flipping over {k-Spades}{j-Spades}.

"I was going to go all in on the flop, you know," Zhu said. "Thank you," he added.
