Nino Ullman
Nino Ullman

Rick Alvarado raised to 1,700,000 from the second position and Nino Ullman called from the big blind, leaving himself with just over 3 million.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Ullman led out 2,000,000. Alvarado shoved and Ullman called with a gutter.

Alvarado: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Ullman: {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Ullman needed a queen or a nine, but the {k-Spades} and {2-Hearts} runout didn't improve his hand.

Broadway for Karmatckii

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Arsenii Karmatckii raised to 1,200,000 from middle position and Patrick Clarke called from one seat over.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and both players opted to check to the {10-Spades} turn. Karmatckii bet 2,400,000 and Clarke called.

The {j-Spades} completed the board and was checked around. Clarke showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for kings and queens but that wasn't good enough as Karmatckii revealed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for broadway to win the pot.

Rusinovas Shows Better Kicker

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Ming Zhu raised to 1,300,000 in the second position, Aleksandras Rusinovas flatted on the button, and Arsenii Karmatckii called from the big blind.

The {5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} flop was checked to Rusionovas who fired 2,700,000 and only Karmatckii called.

They both checked the {k-Clubs} turn as well as the {6-Diamonds} river, and Karmatckii turned up {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Rusinovas had also flopped a top pair and he took it down, with an active kicker to his queen as he showed {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.
