Matt Vengrin Eliminated in 12th Place ($28,976)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Matt Vengrin
Matt Vengrin

On a {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, the chips were flying in the middle, ultimately ending with Matt Vengrin being all in and at risk for over half a million in chips.

Matt Vengrin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}
Brian Hastings: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Both players' hands were all over the flop, with Hastings holding the equity lead overall despite having the worse hand with the three community cards. The {9-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing, but the {q-Spades} on the river gave Hastings the nut flush to win it all and eliminate Vengrin in 12th place.

Darryll Fish

Action folded around to Brian Hastings in the cutoff who raised to 60,000. Darryll Fish was in the small blind and announced a raise of the pot, totaling 210,000. Hastings reraised to put Fish all in for a total of 255,000 and Fish called.

Darryll Fish: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Brian Hastings: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, with Fish missing his flush outs as well as his low outs for one-quarter of the pot. Meanwhile, Hastings ended up with a full house, eights full of queens and eliminated Fish from the tournament.

Yockey Builds a Little

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Bryce Yockey opened to 55,000 from the hijack and was called by Connor Drinan who defended his big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Drinan checked. Yockey bet 120,000 and Drinan called. The turn was {6-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river came {8-Clubs} and Drinan checked again. Yockey shoved for approximately 345,000 and Drinan let his hand go, securing the pot for Yockey.

Johnson Doubles Through Drinan

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Stephen Johnson had just doubled up versus Connor Drinan, having his winning hand of {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} still tabled on a board of {9-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. According to Johnson, the two got it in preflop and he was able to secure the double just before reaching the dinner break.

Vitch Scoops Hastings

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Brian Hastings opened to 50,000 from under the gun and saw action fold around to Chris Vitch who defended his big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Vitch checked. Hastings fired a continuation-bet of 65,000 and Vitch called.

Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn and the river came {5-Clubs}. Vitch bet 225,000 and Hastings thought for a bit before he matched the bet.

Vitch tabled {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a six high straight with the nut low and Hastings was unable to show anything that matched or beat it, mucking his hand as Vitch collected the pot.

Schulman Miraculously Survives

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Ryan Miller raised to 55,000, Nick Schulman three-bet to 189,000 from the blinds and Miller called. The pair went through the motions on the {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, where Schulman bet his last 69,000. Miller swiftly called.

Nick Schulman: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Ryan Miller: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}

Miller had completely crushed Schulman with that flop and the latter tapped the table in defeat, ready to make his way to the exit. However, the {q-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river improved his hand to an improbable Broadway to win the hand.

"Whoa, where did that come from?!" his "homie" Bryce Yockey remarked.

Shortly after, Schulman was clashing with Miller again. After dropping in a small bet on a {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} board, Miller potted it to 197,000.

"Did you say pot?" Schulman inquired before diving deep into the tank. After several minutes, he shoved all in for 327,000 and Miller snapped him off.

Nick Schulman: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Ryan Miller: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}

"You do have it," Schulman softly said. Once again, there was an escape with the river bringing the {6-} to give him a low for a chop.

Leif Force Eliminated in 14th Place ($23,863)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Leif Force
Leif Force

Leif Force was on the button and opened with a pot-sized raise to 84,000. Ryan Miller was in the big blind and asked to see Force's stack, which was slightly over 300,000. Miller made the call and the flop came {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Miller checked, Force bet 176,000 and Miller raised, putting Force all in. Force called and the two tabled their hands.

Ryan Miller: {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Leif Force: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Force found himself with a low draw and the nut flush draw, meanwhile Miller had two pair with an open-ended straight draw and a worse low draw as well. The turn and the river came safe for Miller, running out {2-Hearts}{3-Spades} to give him a full house and take down the pot as Force was eliminated from the tournament.
