Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson

In one of the last hands of the level, Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson has just secured himself a double. He called all in after one player had moved in front and Ferguson had the best of it when the cards were spun over.

Chris Ferguson: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{q-Clubs} favored the preflop favorite and Ferguson collected the pot.

Peters on the Up

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters has over double the average stack after eliminating an opponent just now. A player moved all in for 135,000 and Peters liked the price and made the call. With everyone else out of the way, they turned over their cards.

David Peters: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Peters was the favorite and with no ten on the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board, he sent his opponent to the rail,

Java Keeps Adding Chips

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nipun Java is approaching half a million in chips after taking down a pot without showdown. On a {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, he called a bet of the player in the small blind while being on the button and the action checked to him on the {q-Hearts} turn. Java bet 38,000 and that did the trick to end the hand right there.

"You may have had me on the flop," Java said and his opponent replied "yeah, I had top pair with ten eight."

Finger on the Ascent

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Martin Finger has chipped up considerably of late. Just now he won another pot. With action on the flop and {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} on display, Finger was playing in the big blind, with the small blind and a late position player still in the hand.

The small blind checked and Finger lead for 15,000, which the player behind called and the small blind folded. The turn was the {k-Clubs} and it went a check apiece.

The last card out was the {7-Hearts}. Finger lead for 40,000, which his opponent called but mucked upon seeing the German held {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} in the hole.
