Double for Dentale

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mike Dentale had a generous stack earlier in the day but he has now found himself short and in the big blind with 42,000 left after he posted. "I had a couple of coolers", he explained to PokerNews. "Stick around, you're gonna see some fireworks.

There was already an early position raise and when everyone else moved aside, Dentale put the rest of it in, for a total of 50,000. He was flipping with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} against {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the {3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} board gave him a much-needed double.

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Wendy Freedman took a small hit when she doubled a short stack for just a few big blinds with {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} versus {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} on a board of {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Hannes Neurauter lost by far more chips when his opponent rivered the nut flush with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}, as he was sent all the way back to the starting stack.

Further counts from the Pavilion room can be found below.
