Value for O'Kearney

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Oliver "Dragon" Boesch is sporting a massive stack of more than 700,000 and just paid off a bet of 10,000 by Dara O'Kearney on the river of a board {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. A third player in the hand had folded and O'Kearney's {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a pair of tens was good enough to win the pot.

Boesch is still among the biggest stacks in the rooms right now as the field slowly but surely gets thinned.

Mancini Busts One

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A short stack ended up all in with {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and big stack Edward Mancini called out of the small blind with the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

The board came {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Mancini locked up the knockout on the turn already to climb to almost half a million in chips.

Mantel Moves Up The Leaderboard

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Small sections of the Pavilion white and green section are still in play while yellow has already completely broken and sent players to new seats within the big room.

Some further big stacks have emerged, some of which have more than half a million and all on moving tables, while Ariel Mantel has remained in his seat. The Argentinian just now flopped trips and was paid off when his table neighbor called a bet of 40,000 on the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} river. Mantel turned over {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} and his opponent tapped the table.

Chop it Up

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Barny Boatman opened to 11,500 and got two callers, one behind and one in the big blind.

The flop was the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and all three checked. The turn saw another check from the big blind and Boatman made a delayed continuation bet of 18,000, only the player behind called.

Heads up on the {2-Hearts} river and they both checked once more and then each turned over ace-queen. The dealer chopped it up as Boatman said "I'll settle for that."

Moses and Weinberger on Big Stacks

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

David Moses has worked his way up the leader board, one with a bluff catcher and the other with top pair which he showed after the opponent folded.

Even more chips currently belong to Joseph Weinberger, who sits at more than half a million. According to Weinberger, he flopped a set of nines against ace-queen for top pair and top kicker, and a flopped flush against the nut flush draw held as well.

Short stack: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Nipun Java: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

While Java was behind preflop, he spiked a set on {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and held up on the {q-Hearts} turn and {a-Hearts} river to crack the superior pocket pair.
