Boeree in the Running

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Liv Boeree is in the field and is up from starting stack, despite losing a pot just now. She was heads up in a hand with {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades} on show and she called a 12,000 bet in position. The turn was the {6-Spades} and when her opponent barreled for 22,000, she decided to pass.

Humberto Brenes is among the bigger stacks in the Pavilion room right now. Further counts can be found below.

Petzing Doubles

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Down to 31,000, Jim Petzing needed to get it in and what better time to do it with than with pocket-kings (ok apart from pocket-aces)? He held and netted a double up.

Woodhead More Than Doubles

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a three-way flop of {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, the action checked to Stephen Woodhead in the cutoff and he bet 11,000. The button called and the player in the small blind check-raised to 37,000. Woodhead moved all in to force out the button, while the small blind asked to pull in the chips.

Woodhead was all in for another 64,500 on top and received the call by the small blind with {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Woodhead was miles ahead with the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and had little to fear on the {2-Diamonds} turn and {k-Spades} river run out.

Peters, Grospellier, Urbanovich and Moshi in the Field

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Some big names hopped in late to the tournament, including David Peters, Elky Grospellier, Dzmitry Urbanovich and Asi Moshe.

While they are all still in contention, Ross Boatman and Susie Isaacs have hit the rail.

Sorrentino Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a three-way all in, a short stack in the cutoff and Raffaele Sorrentino on the button ended up all in and Peter Lee had them both covered.

Cutoff: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Raffaele Sorrentino: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Peter Lee: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board came {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Sorrentino and the cutoff, further boosting the big stack of Lee.

Trofimov and Panka Drop Chips

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

[Removed:510] had raised to 23,000 and then faced a reraise to 95,000.

"Did he announce all in?" Trofimov verified with the dealer, which was denied. Either way, the cards went into the muck as Trofimov dropped to around two times the starting stack.

Dominik Panka has also been spotted in the Pavilion White section when he defended the big blind in a three-way pot. Panka led the {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop for 7,500 and faced a raise to 19,500, the small blind folded and Panka called. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Panka checked and folded when facing another bet worth 26,000.
