Wei Doubles With Kings

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Guoliang Wei faced a raise to 4,300 and a three-bet to 15,000, which prompted his shove for 46,200 in the small blind. The initial raiser folded and the three-bettor called.

Guoliang Wei: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board came {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Wei faded the running clubs and ace to double.

"I folded sixes, I would have called him," the initial raiser mentioned in table chat and pointed to the three-bettor.

The same table also features Ivaylo Sivinov and Eyal Bensimhon.

Wolters Busts One

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a limp and a shove for around 22,000, Derek Wolters moved all in over the top out of the big blind and the initial limper folded.

Wolters went into showdown with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} versus {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and spiked the nut straight on a {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to score the knockout.

Engel Calls Light

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ari Engel opened the hijack to 3,800 and only Chakib Bennani called, defending his big blind. On the {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Bennani checked-called a 4,000 continuation.

The turn brought a {9-Spades} and Engel barreled, with Bennani check-calling the 8,000 bet. The river was the {j-Clubs} and Bennani changed tack, leading for 16,000. Engel counted out the chips and thought about it for 20 seconds or so before calling but he mucked when Bennani turned over {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.
