Brady Scores a Knockout

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a multi-way flop of {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Prasad Dobbins ended up all in with the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top pair and top kicker, however, Raymond Brady had him dominated with the {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for two pair. The {j-Clubs} turn gave Dobbins some counter fit outs, but the {9-Spades} river further improved Brady to a full house.

Bad Runout Derails Zyrin

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Anatolii Zyrin has hit the rail after getting it all in with the best hand in the first hand of the level. Zyrin had opened 4,000 on the cutoff and Steve Cho three-bet to 13,200 on the button. The blinds folded and with the action back on Zyrin, the Russian upped it again, four-betting to 25,000. Cho asked Zyrin how much he was playing behind and he confirmed he had another 38,000. Cho put the rest of it in and Zyrin made the call.

Steve Cho: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Anatolii Zyrin: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The first card out was an ace on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop. With only the case king out there, Zyrin was drawing extremely thin and he found no help on the {2-Clubs} turn or the {3-Hearts} river. As Zyrin headed towards the door, Cho told PokerNews "the fish gets there".

Reskallah Building

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Aladin Reskallah is on the up despite losing a recent pot. Reskallah had defended his big blind with {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} in the big blind in a multi-way pot and called an 8,000 bet on the {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop with overs and a flush draw. There was no more betting on either the {4-Diamonds} turn or the {10-Spades} river and his opponent won the hand with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Engel Calls Light

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ari Engel opened the hijack to 3,800 and only Chakib Bennani called, defending his big blind. On the {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Bennani checked-called a 4,000 continuation.

The turn brought a {9-Spades} and Engel barreled, with Bennani check-calling the 8,000 bet. The river was the {j-Clubs} and Bennani changed tack, leading for 16,000. Engel counted out the chips and thought about it for 20 seconds or so before calling but he mucked when Bennani turned over {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.
