Hands #29-33: Vieira Keeps the Pressure On

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Hand #29: Joao Vieira raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and that was enough to get the rest to fold.

Hand #30: Vieira raised to 255,000 from under the gun and picked up the blinds and ante again.

Hand #31: Olivier Busquet raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and Jamie O'Connor called in the button. Pierre Calamusa folded his small blind and Vieira defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, Vieira checked, Busquet continued with a bet of 200,000 and the rest folded.

Hand #32: Busquet raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Joe Cada defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Cada check-raised the 150,000 bet of Busquet to 500,000. Busquet contemplated his options for a bit, grimaced and then let his hand go.

Hand #33: Calamusa raised to 250,000 from the cutoff, Vieira three-bet to 750,000 from the button and everyone else, including Calamusa himself, let their hands go.
