Hands #29-31: Anderson Tops Tolpingrud

Level 38 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Hand #29: Fernando Karam raised to 1.7 million from the cutoff and James Anderson called from the big blind. Both players checked the {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop and then Anderson check-called a bet of 2 million on the {10-Hearts} turn. When the {j-Spades} completed the board on the river, both players returned to checking.

Karam showed the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Anderson tabled the {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for the same hand. Chop it up!

Hand #30: Nils Tolpingrud raised to 1.2 million under the gun and folded when Karam three-bet to 3.6 million from the hijack.

Hand #31: Anderson raised to 1.3 million and Tolpingrud called from the big blind. The latter check-called a bet of 1.4 million on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and then both players checked the {4-Hearts} turn. When the {a-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Tolpingrud checked and called a bet of 4.8 million. Anderson tabled the {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} and it was good as Tolpingrud mucked.

Hand #17: Shalom Elharar limped, and James Anderson and Liran Betito called in the blinds. Anderson led out for 600,000 on the {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, and only Elharar called. Anderson check-called a 600,000 bet from Elharar on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Both players checked the river {k-Hearts}, and Elharar showed {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for two pair.

Hand #18: Marco Guibert opened to 1,200,000 in early position, and Fernando Karam, Liran Betitio and Nils Tolpingrud all called. The flop came {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Guibert checked, Karam bet 2,400,000 and only Guibert called. The turn came {3-Hearts}, Guibert checked, Karam bet 4,500,000 and Guibert raised all in, getting the fold.

Hand #21: Shalom Elharar limped in early position, and the action folded to Mark Strodl, who checked from the big blind. Elharar bet 1,000,000 on the {7-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, and Strodl called. Both players checked the {k-Spades} turn, and Strodl bet 2,000,000 on the {j-Diamonds} river and got the call. Strodl showed {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a turned flush.
