Yaiche Takes Two From Holst

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

In the first hand action was folded around to Kristina Holst on the button and she made it 1,200 to go. Basil Yaiche then three-bet shoved from his small blind, which got an immediate fold from the big blind player. With action back on Holst she asked for a count and then folded once the dealer confirmed 13,100 total.

In the very next hand, Holst again raised it up preflop when action folded to her and Yaiche once again shoved all in. That time Holst made the call and the players tabled their hands.

Basil Yaiche: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Kristina Holst: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop was a scary one for Yaiche, but the {7-Hearts} turn and {5-Diamonds} river were good for him and secured his double-up.

Dunst In, Kuo Out

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Kitty Kuo earlier this summer

Thomas Larson limped under the gun and Craig Varnell raised to 2,300 in the next seat. Kitty Kuo sat in the cutoff and she three-bet all in for about 10,000. The button and blinds folded and so did Larson. Varnell quickly called.

Kitty Kuo: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Craig Varnell: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Varnell asked Kuo if she wanted a chop but it didn't happen on the {6-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Tony Dunst sat down on another table while Kuo was sent to the rail.

Blumenfield Makes Pavlovic Fold

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Neil Blumenfield raised from early position to 1,100 and it folded to big blind Hristivoje Pavlovic. The Twitch sensation defended his blind and the {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop was dealt.

Pavlovic checked and initial raiser Blumenfield, who final tabled the WSOP Main Event in 2015 and finished in third, continued with a bet of 1,200 and that was enough to make Pavlovic check his cards again and fold them.

Helppi Raises and Takes it; Panka Joins the Field

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Juha Helppi sat under the gun when he raised to 1,200 and everyone at the table folded, including the players in the small and big blind. He won some extra chips but he is still hovering around the starting stack of 20,000.

Dominik Panka just took his seat in the tournament with a fresh stack of 20,000 as he just joined the field.

Ilani Gives Up

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Ran Ilani raised from the cutoff to 1,100 and he was called by the player on the button in the next seat. Both players in the blinds got out of the way.

The flop fell {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Ilani continued with a bet of 1,700. He was then raised by his neighbor to 4,400 and that was too much for Ilani who folded.

Nasreddine Bluffs Big Before Break

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Raina Nasreddine raised it to 900 from middle position, called the three-bet to 3,300 from the player on the button and they went headsup to the flop.

After the dealer spread {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}, Nasreddine checked. The button-player then continued for 2,800 and was met with a check-raise to 5,900 from Nasreddine. The button-player made the call.

Nasreddine then led out for 7,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn and was again called. After Nasreddine shoved all in on the {3-Spades} river the button-player asked for a count. The dealer confirmed 25,000 total, which sent the button-player deep into the tank.

In fact, he tanked for 7 1/2 minutes into the second break before he finally released his hand and asked Nasreddine to show the bluff. After she obliged and tabled {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}, he said "Nice hand," and told her he folded ace-king.
