Darie Departs

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Vlad Darie raised from under the gun, and Will Givens called in the cutoff before Ignacio Moron three-bet from the button. Both players called, and they saw a {2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} glop.

Darie thought for 30 seconds before he moved all in for 120,000 and Moron snap-called after Givens had folded.

Vlad Darie: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Ignacio Moron: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Moron has flopped top set and Darie was drawing to the nut flush for survival.

The {7-Diamonds} turn flipped the situation in Darie's favor, but when the {8-Spades} hit the river, Moron improved a full house, and a disappointed Darie departed from the table to collect his prize money.

Kristen Bicknell moved all in, and Titov called with his tournament life on the line.

Oleg Titov: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Kristen Bicknell: {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Bicknell was drawing dead, and Titov secured the double after the insignificant river card fell.

Bonomo Doubles Back Up Through Mermelstein

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Aaron Mermelstein sat on the button and he saw Justin Bonomo open it up with a raise to 10,000 from middle position. Mermelstein three-bet to 32,000 and Bonomo called after the blinds folded.

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Bonomo checked to Mermelstein again. He put in a bet of 45,000 and it was back on Bonomo who called.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Bonomo checked for the third time in a row. Mermelstein announced all in and Bonomo asked for confirmation before calling.

Bonomo immediately tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and that was enough to beat the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Mermelstein.

Leonard Eliminates Kaneoya

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard raised from middle position to 13,000 and it was Renato Kaneoya who pushed his last 68,000 to the middle. The action folded back to Leonard and he quickly called as he tabled {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Kaneoya was in trouble with {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

The {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop split Kaneoya's outs in half and he couldn't catch up on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {j-Hearts} river.

Leonard has his seventh in-the-money finish of the series but he has yet to reach an official final table.
