Mosley Leaves Deeb Short

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} there was roughly 44,000 in the middle, and Shaun Deeb check-called a bet of 22,000 from Dominique Mosley.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}, Deeb checked again and Mosley asked how much he had left. After finding out it was 152,000 he decided to check back.

The {j-Clubs} fell on the river, Deeb checked again and Mosley fired in a bet of 65,000, Deeb went into the tank counting his remaining stack if he calls, and sighed as he put the 65,000 in the middle. Mosley tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a flush and Deeb mucked his hand as he muttered, "should have bet the turn, you would have got it all."

Rusnak Takes Most of Hendee's Chips; Eliminates Him Shortly After

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the turn with almost 700,000 chips in the middle the board read {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Paul Hendee checked and Francis Rusnak instantly moved all-in for 177,000 and Hendee snap-called.

Francis Rusnak: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Paul Hendee: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Rusnak had flopped a straight, but Hendee still had a flush draw. Unfortunately for Hendee the river was a brick when the {q-Diamonds} landed and Rusnak had a massive double up, leaving Hendee with just over 60,000 chips.

A few hands later, all the chips went in the middle preflop and it was Hendee against Rusnak again, this time Hendee was the one at risk for 61,000.

Paul Hendee: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Francis Rusnak: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} giving Rusnak two pair, finishing off Hendee and sending him to the payout desk.

Deeb Sends Anderson To the Payout Line

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Calvin Anderson (pictured in another event)
Calvin Anderson (pictured in another event)

Shaun Deeb and Calvin Anderson were overheard talking while Anderson was standing up, having just been eliminated, and Deeb was raking in chips.

According to Deeb, he opened {j-}{9-} and Anderson shoved his last five-or-so big blinds with {8-}{8-}.

The flop came {9-}{6-}{2-} to give Deeb a pair of nines. He added the turn and the river brought "two squirts of a water bottle," alluding to Anderson's "showering" some players when they busted yesterday in Day 1.

Nehorayan Doubles Through Darlington

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a 4-way limped pot the flop was {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and the first two players checked to Peter Darlington who bet out the entire pot of 24,000. Robert Nehorayan was next to act and reraised to 96,000, the two middle players mucked fast and Darlington raised again and Nehorayan instantly put his remaining stack in the pot for a total of 112,000.

Robert Nehorayan: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Peter Darlington: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Darlington floped top two pairs but was dominated by Nehorayan's top set, and the board completed with the {6-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Diamonds} on the river, giving both players a full house but Nehorayan won with queens full of jacks.

Gavin Takes Down Three-Bet Pot

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Eduardo Bernalsanchez raised in the hijack to 13,000 and Lexy Gavin three-bet 39,000 on the button and the action folded back around to Bernalsanchez who after a few seconds made the call.

Both players checked to the river on a {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} board, Bernalsanchez checked again and Gavin fired out a bet of 38,000 and that was good enough to take down the pot.

Peterson Sends Bao Home

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 18,000 and Alexander Peterson called in the small blind. Danny Bao went all in from the big blind for 75,000 and the cutoff folded. Peterson quickly announced a call.

Alexander Peterson: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Danny Bao: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Bao found himself up in need of some help as he was up against aces and a queen with a better kicker. The board came {q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades} and his two pair was no good to Peterson's top set and he was eliminated from the tournament.

There was approximately 100,000 in the middle, on a board of {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Darius Studdard moved all-in for roughly 60,000. Thomas Hueber snap-called and both hands were tabled.

Darius Studdard: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Thomas Hueber: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}
