Tsang Wins Big Against Angelou-Konstas

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas checked from the big blind before Anson Tsang bet 10,000 from the button.

Angelou-Konstas raised to 32,000 and Tsang called.

The {4-Spades} hit the turn, and after Angelou-Konstas checked, Tsang bet 55,000. After some thought, Angelou-Konstas called, and the {k-Clubs} hit the river.

Angelou-Konstas checked again, and Tsang bet 51,000 after over a minute in the tank.

Angelou-Konstas then himself sat silent for close to two minutes before he decided to call.

Tsang tabled {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and Angelou-Konstas mucked.

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Marton Czuczor raised from the cutoff to 10,500 and the only player that called was Andras Nemeth from the big blind.

The flop was dealt {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Nemeth checked to the initial raiser and Czuczor bet 10,000. Nemeth took his time to eventually raised to 30,000 and Czuczor folded.

Nemeth had a deep run last week when he finished 7th in Event #79: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em but he is, of course, looking for that elusive first bracelet.
