Sauve Cracks Aces and Kings in Four-Way All-In

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Daniel Sauve's tournament has taken a dramatic turn for the better, after his pocket eights scooped a huge all-in pot. With just over six big blinds, Sauve was the shortest of the all-in players, and up against {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and {q-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. The flop was the rainbow {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, the turn the {2-Diamonds} and then one of two eights left in the deck came down on the river: {8-Clubs}.

"Woowooowoo!" exclaimed Sauve who had presumably resigned himself to an exit.

"The same thing happened to me yesterday!" he said, furiously texting while the rest of the table discussed the hand in animated (but friendly) fashion. "I sucked out hard, but I had six big blinds - what can I do?"
