Deeb Takes a Hit

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Shaun Deeb and Gregory Robbins were on the river with {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} on display. Deeb lead for 2,500 and one player folded. After deliberating for 30 seconds or so, Robbins raised to 11,000 and Deeb made a quick call. Robbins turned over {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for two pair on the turn that improved to a full house and Deeb couldn't beat it, sending his cards into the muck.

Robbins had already dropped a lot at that point, telling PokerNews, "I desperately needed those 11,000."
