Young Doubles Weber Up and Can't Recover

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Weber shoved from the hijack for 50,500 and action folded to Orson Young in the big blind who made the call.

Michael Weber: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Orson Young: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for Weber to hold with the pocket pair to double up and leave Young behind with 9,000.

The hand after, Young put his last 9,000 in from the small blind. Kento Mori looked at his cards and threw in a stack of chips for the call.

Orson Young: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Kento Mori: {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for them both to flop a pair and keep Young ahead with the higher one.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} which didn't change things but the {6-Clubs} on the river did as Mori rivered trips. Mori fist-pumped the air and shouted: "Yes!" to the surprise of Scott Baumstein who just saw down at the table. Max Silver kindly explained what had happened.
