Stevens' Two Pair Holds Up

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player raised to 800 from early position, and was called by Kyle Wikberg in the small blind, as well as Mark Stevens in the big blind.

Action checked through the {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, and Wikberg bet 1,000 on the {4-Spades} turn. Both Stevens and the early position player called.

All three players quickly checked the {8-Hearts} river, and Wikberg announced, "Two pair," but everyone was reluctant to show. The early position player mucked after Wikberg showed {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, but Stevens turned up {j-Clubs}{9-Spades} for jacks up and the win.

"The two pair trick...never works," deadpanned a player at the table.

Boat over Boat

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Darren Rabinowitz appeared to be a victim of a set over set situation that turned into a boat for both as his {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} went up in flames to the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} of Mark Nelson on a board that read {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The dealer was counting out the chips of Nelson to determine how many to take from Rabinowitz's stack as all he could do was sit back and shake his head.

Cambell Takes it On the Turn

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Teshome Cambell raised to 1,100 from early position, and was called by a player in middle position, before Grant Leber three-bet to 2,200 in the hijack. Cambell and the middle position player both called.

Action checked through an {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, and Cambell bet 5,000 on the {k-Clubs} turn. The middle position player folded, and Leber angrily tossed his hand to the muck as well.
