Binger Gets Dinged by Houri's Nut Flush

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Nick Binger raised to 1,200 from the button, and was called by Yehoram Houri in the small blind.

Houri check-called a bet of 1,300 from Binger on the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} flop, and the {4-Hearts} fell on the turn. Houri checked again, and Binger bet 3,100. Houri woke up with a check-raise to 13,000, and Binger called.

On the {a-Spades} river, Houri bet 20,000, and Binger called, only to muck upon seeing Houri's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Great Flop for Schillhabel

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

The cards were already face up in front of the players but it appeared all of the chips got in the middle on the flop. Stefan Schillhabel was heads-up on the button with the small blind on his left. Schillhabel was all in for just over 15,000 on the flop.

The board read {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Schillhabel held {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a full house. It was a perfect flop for Schillhabel as his opponent also flopped trip nines with {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The ace on the turn gave Schillhabel a full house and his opponent was drawing dead.

Schu's Kings Take a Chunk From Fleischer

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Terry Fleischer
Terry Fleischer

A player raised to 1,000 from the hijack, and Bill Schu three-bet to 3,500 on the button. Terry Fleischer called in the big blind, and the hijack folded.

Fleischer checked the {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop to Schu, who bet 6,000. Fleischer called.

On the {6-Spades} turn, Fleischer led out for 6,000, and Schu quickly called.

Fleischer bet another 6,000 on the {6-Diamonds} river, and Schu raised to 15,000. Fleischer sheepishly grinned at the situation, but called anyways, only to muck when Schu tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Altman Takes it Down With a Set

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts} there was roughly 5,200 in the middle, Catherine Dever checked the small blind, Bobby Altman checked, and the button bet out 3,200. Dever called, and Altman check-raised to 7,900, the button called and Dever let her hand go.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Altman fired in four 5,000 chips for a total of 20,000 and his opponent made the call. The {3-Diamonds} fell on the river and both players checked. Altman tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a set of fours, while his opponent tabled the losing {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for top pair and a turned flush draw, giving Altman the pot.

Friedman Can't Connect with Stronger Ace

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Facing a button raise to 1,100, Prahlad Friedman called from the small blind to see the {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Friedman check-called a bet of 1,100 before both players checked down the {6-Diamonds} and {k-Spades} on the turn and river.

Friedman tabled his {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, but it would be the button's {a-Spades}{8-Spades} that would earn him the pot.

Kalas in Trouble

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Kane Kalas
Kane Kalas

With just 21 big blinds left, Kane Kalas has had a tough day so far. Just now he lost a little more after minraising to 1,000 under the gun and getting a call from James Magner on the button and Pedro Llanes in the big blind.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts} and after Llanes checked, Kalas didn't continue and the action moved to Magner who bet 2,000. Llanes was out but Kalas came along to see a {7-Clubs} land on the turn. It went check-check and the same happened on the {2-Spades} river. Magner turned over top pair with {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and it was good for the pot with Kalas mucking his cards.

Kniep Given a Gift

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Andreas Kniep opened to 1,100 from middle position and action folded around to the big blind, who defended. The flop came {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the big blind checked to Kniep, who made a continuation-bet of 1,500 and received a call. Both players checked the turn {a-Clubs}.

The river came {2-Diamonds} and with action on the big blind, he tossed his cards straight into the muck, resulting in the pot being sent to Kniep without a showdown.
