Adelstein's Growing Stack Gets a Small Setback

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Garrett Adelstein had 1,500 in front of him in the big blind, and was contemplating an all-in bet from Christopher Andreone in early position for 14,400. Adelstein eventually tossed in calling chips.

Garrett Adelstein: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Christopher Andreone: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Adelstein's kicker problem wasn't resolved on a {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades} board, and he doubled Andreone up.

Warken Loses a Flip

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Tyler Warken was down to less than 30,000 chips and was facing a raise from middle position. Warken stuck in a three-bet on the button and his opponent four-bet shoved all in. Warken was facing a decision for his tournament life and he gave it some thought but called off his stack.

Tyler Warken: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip that Warken needed to win in order to stay alive. However, the flop came {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to give his opponent the lead. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river was the {a-Diamonds} as Warken was eliminated from the tournament.

Distefano Adda Chips to his Stack

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With just 10,600 chips left behind, Vito Distefano put out a bet for 10,000 on the river, with the board reading {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Dor Adda took a while, not looking pleased, to make a decision on a call or a fold.

Adda eventually chose to call, mucking when Distefano showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a set of fours.

When Vaughan Reaches, They Fold

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Matt Vaughan
Matt Vaughan

Matt Vaughan raised to 1,500 from middle position, and found a caller in the cutoff.

After the {q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop fell, Vaughan reached for chips to bet, and the cutoff instantly mucked before Vaughan could make a wager.

"How does he know? How does he know?" Vaughan said with a grin, flashing {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} before chucking his hand to the muck.
