Ensan Folds on River

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Christopher Hovey raised to 700 from an early position, Hossein Ensan flatted in the cutoff, and a player in the small blind joined them to the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Ensan bet 1,100 in position and only the small blind called as Hovey gave up.

The {10-Hearts} turn went check-check and Ensan faced a bet of 3,500 when the {7-Diamonds} landed on the river. Ensan double checked his stack-size and then folded.

The Rich Get Richer

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Three players saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the action checked to Andrew Spears in the cutoff who bet 800. Angelina Rich was the only caller from middle position and the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Both players checked and the {8-Hearts} completed the board. Rich checked once more and Spears tossed in a bet of 4,000. Rich check-raised to 8,000 and Spears eventually called. Rich turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a straight and was awarded the pot.

Meola Tests Politano

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Bruno Politano raised from middle position to 500 and the player on the button called. Thomas Meola sat in the big blind and he raised to 1,200. Both Politano and Meola called.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Meola continued with a bet of 1,200 but Politano three-bet to 3,300. The player on the button folded but Meola called. The turn was the {2-Clubs} anc Meola check-called a bet of 5,500 from Politano.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Meola checked again. Politano fired a bet of 10,500 and Meola quickly flicked in 20,000. That bet was adjusted by the dealer to 21,000 and it was up to Politano what to do. He tanked for a couple of minutes and apologized to the table for taking his time. He folded after a little over four minutes in the tank.

He immediately asked Meola if he had pocket kings but an instant ''no'' was the answer. Meola later declared that he had a flush.

Cutler Raised Out on River

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

On a board that read {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} Alan Cutler bet 12,000 into a pot of just over 20,000. His opponent Elliot Smith thought for a while as Cutler started to turtle up with his shirt over his mouth. After about twenty seconds Smith tossed out chips for a raise to 35,000.

"Tank raise?" asked a surprised Cutler "You must have king-queen. That would be so sick". He thought for about ten seconds longer before folding to the raise.
