Adam Levy bet 7,000 into 9,000 from the button on {9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} only to have Donald Haas check-raise out of the big blind to 17,000. Levy peeled and the {10-Spades} hit. Haas bet 18,000 and Levy splashed in a raise to 48,000. Haas thought about 90 seconds and mucked.

Vijayaratnam led out for 2,500 and Smith called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river. Vijayaratnam fired out another bet of 6,000 and Smith peeked back at his cards before calling. Vijayaratnam turned over {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for two pair and Smith sent his cards to the muck.

The action folded back around to Messina and he asked for a count. After finding out it was 28,900, Messina went deep into the tank for about three minutes, counting his stack but eventually throwing his cards into the muck.

Howard Gone in Less Than Ten

The flop read {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} with 7,100 in the middle already.

Robert Howard checked in the big blind and Daniel Hicks led out for 6,000 from the middle position. Howard responded with a shove and the dealer confirmed he had 36,100 when Hicks asked. Hicks contemplated his options for a while and then opted to make the call with the bigger stack.

"Flush draw?" Hicks asked and Howard nodded.

"Tens are in his wheelhouse," Moneymaker said as he raked in the first pot of the day at Table #442.
