David Brookshire: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Shuichi Hiratsuka; {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
David Jackson: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for Brookshire to hit a set on the flop and improve to a full house on the turn to triple up. The remainder of Hiratsuka's stack was sent Jackson's way.

Akopyan Flushes Out Papadopouluos

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Sarkis Akopyan raised from middle position to 16,000, the action folded to Kyriakos Papadopouluos in the cutoff who made the call and the button and blinds got out of the way.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Akopyan threw out a 25,000 chip and Papadopouluos wasted no time moving all-in for roughly 118,000, which Akopyan snap-called.

Sarkis Akopyan: {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Kyriakos Papadopouluos: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Papadopouluos flopped top pair but had to avoid Akopyan's open-ended straight draw. The turn was safe when the {10-Hearts} came but it gave Akopyan more outs to a flush and the river was the {8-Hearts} completing Akopyan's flush and eliminating Papadopouluos from the tournament.

Deuces Never Lose for Joeckel

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jordan Joeckel had shoved from the early position for 89,000, Luther Tran called in the hijack, and action folded to Galen Hall in the small blind who three-bet to 255,000. The big blind and Tran both folded so the cards could go on their backs.

Jordan Joeckel: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Galen Hall: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for Hall to stay ahead with the higher pocket pair.

The turn was the {2-Spades} for Joeckel to turn a set but it also gave Hall some extra outs to a flush.

The river completed the board with the {q-Spades} which gave Hall a flush but as it paired the board, Joeckel improved to a full house to stay alive and double up.
