Foxen Building Up

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

The flop read {8-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Alex Foxen checked from under the gun. Jeff Dumas bet 50,000 from middle position which Foxen called. The turn was the {j-Clubs} and both players checked. The river was the {7-Diamonds}. Foxen led out with a bet of 53,000. Dumas considered it for a while before laying it down.

"I finally have some chips" said Foxen as he pulled in the modest pot. "You are probably top five in physical chips" joked another player at the table referring to the pyramid of yellow 1,000 chips residing in Foxen's stack.

Ali Eslami
Ali Eslami

"I am not all in," Ali Eslami insisted as he had raised for all but his last 1,000 chip against Thomas Syversen on the button and they headed to the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, on which Eslami checked and called all in.

Ali Eslami: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Thomas Syversen: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {5-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river were no threat and Eslami doubled.

Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

"Joey, we're all in!" could be heard in the corner of the Amazon Orange section. Adam Friedman was yelling at his friend across the room to let him know he was all in. Once we arrived at the table, it was confirmed that Friedman was at risk for 365,000.

Adam Friedman: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Friedman found the perfect spot to get all of his chips in the middle and the board of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} ensured him of a full double up.

Rayan Chamas
Rayan Chamas

"He wins it all" the player in the four seat said as the completed board showed {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} with pocket fours exposed.

Adam Daniel in the big blind had been all in already and tabled {5-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair that ended up counterfeited on the river as Rayan Chamas in the under-the-gun position revealed his {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for queens up.

Hunichen Rolling On Start of Day 4

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Action folded to Alex Foxen on the button and he opened to 22,000. Chris Hunichen called out of the small blind and the player in the big blind three-bet all in for 134,000.

Foxen asked for a count and then folded, putting action onto Hunichen who quickly put in chips to call.

Chris Hunichen: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
All-In Player: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The two players found themselves racing for either the double up or the knockout. The flop came {3-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and was no help for Hunichen. The turn fell {a-Spades}, putting a third spade on the board and taking two more outs away from him. However, the {k-Hearts} fell on the river, delivering the knockout punch as Hunichen added to his already-increasing stack that has now eclipsed 2.5 million in chips, making him the likely chip leader nearing the end of Level 16.
