Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
David Vedral
David Vedral

The cards of James Everist were already in the muck as David Vedral dragged in his chips with {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight on the board {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Alex Foxen confirmed that Everist had been all in with the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and hit the rail, as his set was no good.

Padilha Gets a Squeeze Through

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez opened to 52,000 from early position and received calls from Nicholas Danias in the cutoff and Larry Ross out of the small blind. Pedro Padilha then executed the squeeze, three-betting all in from the big blind.

Gonzalez asked for a count, which the dealer cut out to 608,000. Eventually, he folded. Danias then asked to confirm the amount before tossing his cards into the muck. As soon as he folded, Ross did the same and Padilha added the chunk of chips to his stack as a result.

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

The board read {8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Jake Daniels bet 164,000 and was quickly raised all in by Paul Dhaliwal for his remaining amount of 806,000. Daniels thought for a while and said "I don't beat anything" to himself out loud. Eventually he folded and Dhaliwal took down a boost to his stack.

Huk Doubles Through Brandt

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Lawrence Brandt raised in the hijack and Martin Huk jammed out of the small blind for 677,000. Brandt gave it some consideration and called with pocket tens, while Huk had a flip with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop improved Huk, but the {4-Hearts} turn gave Brandt a flush draw with his {10-Hearts}. Huk dodged the hearts and two remaining tens in the deck, as the {4-Diamonds} river was a blank to secure his double up.

Danias Gets Value With Jacks

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez opened to 52,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by Nicholas Danias in the hijack.

"How much is it?" Gonzalez asked the dealer, who pushed over the chips and confirmed a size of 107,000. Gonzalez called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Gonzalez checked. Danias made a continuation-bet of 136,000 and Gonzalez called.

The turn fell {2-Hearts} and Danias put out another stack of chips. Gonzalez asked how much and the dealer counted 236,000. Gonzalez called once more. The river was {6-Spades} and both players checked.

Gonzalez, first to act, tabled {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours. Danias then turned over {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot.
