Thomas Parkes Eliminated in 59th Place ($142,215)

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Thomas Parkes
Thomas Parkes

Thomas Parkes shoved second to act for 3,635,000. In the hijack, Steven Parrott stuck in his 2.3 million. Lars Bonding tank-folded in the next seat and everyone else released as well.

Thomas Parkes: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Steven Parrott: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} board brought nothing for Parrott to fear and left Parkes on 1.3 million. Unfortunately for him, there was no time to shove under the gun as Milos Skrbic got balanced to another table. Parkes was forced to commit a large chunk of his stack out of the big blind and called it off against small blind Zhen Cai.

Zhen Cai: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Thomas Parkes: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop and then {10-Clubs} turn gave Cai a straight to lock it up and bust Parkes when he couldn't find a chop on the {4-Spades} river.

Rollercoaster Ride for Duta

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Florian Duta just lost a large pot with ace-queen vs the pocket fours of Thomer Pidun. Duta flopped an ace but the board ran out a wheel for Pidun, leaving Duta with just 100,000 chips.

In the next hand, he shoved all in with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and was up against the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of [Removed:140]. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Duta was saved by a rivered flush to climb up to 500,000 chips.

Following that, Duta pushed out a raise to 450,000 and Christopher Wynkoop made it 1,000,000 in the hijack. Kartik Ved shipped all in for 2,715,000 in the small blind and Duta stuck in the last of his chips. Wynkoop also called and all three hands were tabled.

Florian Duta: {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Kartik Ved: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Christopher Wynkoop: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and Duta was the only player with a diamond in his hand. Duta more than tripled up again and Ved picked up the side pot versus Wynkoop.

Manole Takes Lead on Main Feature Table

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Mihai Manole opened the action with a raise to 500,000 first to act and Ryan Yu came along from the big blind. On the {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Yu check-called a bet of 600,000 and the {a-Clubs} turn brought no betting action. Yu also checked the {10-Hearts} river and a bet of 1,200,000 by Manole did the trick to force a fold from Yu.

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Robert Heidorn raised to 425,000 in late position and Johnathan Dempsey called from the hijack, as did Nicholas Marchington from the button.

The flop landed {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and action checked round as the {2-Hearts} fell on the turn. Action checked to Marchington, and he bet 550,000.

Heidorn and Dempsey both called as the river landed the {j-Clubs} and all three players checked.

Pure Aggression from Ajayi

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} and Ved fired out another bet of 750,000. Ajayi grabbed some raising chips and made it 2,000,000 to go. Ved went into the tank for a couple of minutes and finally released his cards to the muck.

Livingston Folds to Lu

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, Livingston checked again. Lu continued with a bet of 680,000 which Livingston called.

The river completed the board with the {k-Spades}, Livingston checked for the last time. Lu barreled a bet of 1,000,000 over the line. Livingston contemplated his options for a while, glancing at Lu several times, and then opted to fold.
