Vitalijs Zavorotnijs Eliminated in 71st Place ($117,710)

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs open-shipped all in for 2,295,000 in early position and Hossein Ensan asked for a count from the hijack. He thought for over a minute but decided to let his cards go. Nicholas Marchington, however, instantly called when the action was on him in the big blind.

Nicholas Marchington: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Marchington's ace-high was still in the lead. The {q-Clubs} hit the turn to give Marchington a pair of queens but it was Zavorotnijs who actually picked up more outs. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Zavorotnijs was unable to connect in any way, thus being forced to the payout desk.

Danias Cracks Kings to Double

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Nicholas Danias

Over on the secondary feature table, Hiroki Nawa raised to 325,000 and Alex Foxen three-bet to 945,000 in the cutoff. Nicholas Danias in the small blind jammed for 2,880,000 and Nawa reraised to force out Foxen.

Nicholas Danias: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Hiroki Nawa: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop failed to improve Danias, but his rail cheered when the {q-Spades} hit on the turn. The river was the blank {2-Spades}, further improving Danias to a full house, and he more than doubled.
