Duthweiler Shoves on Stokkan

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Preben Stokkan opened to 250,000 in early position and was called by Tobias Duthweiler a couple of seats over and Jacob Thibodeau in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {9-Clubs} on the turn.

The action checked to Duthweiler this time who flicked in a bet of 500,000. Thibodeau folded and Stokkan called to see the {4-Diamonds} on the river. Stokkan led out for 1,500,000 this time and Duthweiler announced all in. Stokkan looked back at his cards and then slid them forward to the muck.

Matthew Davis Eliminated in 76th Place ($98,120)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

We didn't see when the last of the money went in, but Matthew Davis was pushing his remaining chips forward with {q-}{j-} in front of him on a board of {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}. Unfortunately for Davis, he'd run into the {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} held by Zhen Cai, and he wished everyone good luck before heading to payouts.

Skrbic's King-Kicker is Good

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Milos Skrbic raised to 300,000 from the button and Duey Duong defended his big blind.

The flop came {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Duong check-called the 300,000 bet of Skrbic.

They both checked through the {j-Clubs} on the turn to the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Duong took over the initiative and led out with a bet of 300,000. Skrbic took a few seconds, looked up to the ceiling, cut out calling chips, and put them in for the call. Duong tabled {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the trip jacks on the board with the queen-kicker but was bested by Skrbic who held {k-Clubs}{2-Spades} for the higher kicker.

On the {3-Spades} turn, Au led for 500,000 to pick up a call before leading the {5-Spades} river once more for 500,000. Koerper gave it some consideration and folded.
