Manole Flops Second Pair

Mihai Manole opened to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Preben Stokkan called in the big blind.

The {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board checked through to the river where Stokkan tabled his {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and Manole tabled his {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} to collect the pot with queens-up.

Duong Lets Niwinski Pick a Card

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Duey Duong raised to 850,000 and Michael Niwinski called in the cutoff. The flop came {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Duong continued for 900,000, which Niwinski called. Both opted to check the {a-Clubs} turn and the {a-Hearts} fell on the river. Duong now made it 2,300,000 to go and Niwinski folded after brief consideration.

"Do you want to see one card?" Duong asked and Niwinski picked one, the {j-Hearts} was exposed as a result.

Jacks for Mirzikinian

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Warwick Mirzikinian raised to 1,125,000 from middle position and Hossein Ensan defended his big blind.

The {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board checked through to the river where Mirzikinian tabled his {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Ensan mucked.

Dempsey Doubles Through Dhaliwal

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

On the first hand at his table back from the break, Johnathan Dempsey shoved from the small blind for 1,600,000 and Nicholas Danias folded his big blind.

Two hands later, Dempsey shoved for 2,400,000 from the cutoff and Paul Dhaliwal called from the big blind.

The board came down {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, giving Dempsey a pair of kings to double up.

Stokkan Adds Three Million

Three of the first four hands on the third feature table saw Preben Stokkan raise to 900,000 and he picked up the blinds and big blind ante in each of them to add three million in chips to his stack.

Lu Folds to Koerper

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Zackary Koerper raised to 800,000 from the button and Henry Lu defended his big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, Lu check-called the 400,000 continuation-bet of Koerper.

The {6-Hearts} came on the turn and now Lu check-called the 700,000 bet of Koerper.

The river completed the board with the {j-Hearts}, Lu checked for the last time. Koerper bet 1,350,000 and that was enough for Lu to fold.

Lewis Takes from Rau

[Removed:140] opened for 2.9 million from the button and Austin Lewis defended the big blind to see a {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. Lewis led out for 500,000, Rau called, and the dealer burned and turned the {j-Spades}.

Lewis bet 1.78 million, Rau called, and the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Lewis bet again, this time 4.5 million, and Rau folded.

Koerper Gets a Shove Through

Garry Gates opened for 900,000 in middle position, Alex Livingston called on the button and Zackary Koerper jammed in the big blind. It was 5,750,000 and that chased his two remaining opponents into the muck.
