Hunichen Bounced

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Chris Hunichen opened to 4,000 from middle position and 'Adamwia' re-raised all in from the big blind. Hunichen called off the rest of his 48,672 chips to create a monster pot preflop.

'Adamwia': {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Chris Hunichen: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Hunichen found himself pipped and the {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop proved to be no help. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn left Hunichen drawing to a queen but the {2-Hearts} on the river was not it. Hunichen was eliminated and 'Adamwia' moved over six figures.

Chen Barely Stays Alive

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

The action folded to 'Sitting Out' in the cutoff who made it 5,000 to go. Pete Chen three-bet shoved all in for 22,900 on the button and 'Sitting Out' made the call to put Chen at risk.

Pete Chen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
'Sitting Out': {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Chen saw his tournament life on the line and needing an ace in order to stay alive. The flop came {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Chen spiked a three-outer to take the lead. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river locked up the double for Chen.

'Docstarz' raised it up to 2,640 in the cutoff and McDonald just called from the button. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. 'Docstarz' checked to McDonald who bet 2,660 and 'Docstarz' came in with a check-raise shove for 14,346. McDonald called and his opponent in trouble.
