Burns Hits the Rail

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The action folded to Kahle Burns in middle position who had less than five big blinds. Burns shoved all in for 17,900 and was called by 'jklm28' on his left. "Adamwia' also called from the big blind, giving Burns a chance to triple up.

The flop came {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and 'Adamwia' check-folded to a bet of 12,000 from 'jklm28'. Burns turned over {k-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush draw but was up against the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} of 'jklm28'.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn also gave Burns an open-ended straight draw but it was the {k-Clubs} on the river. Burns made a pair of kings but it wasn't enough to keep him alive as Burns was eliminated.
