Who Will Win the Bracelet in Event #38: $600 Monster Stack No Limit Hold'em 6-Handed?

WSOP GGpoker
WSOP GGpoker

The 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker Online Bracelet Events will determine another champion ahead of the second Super Sunday of the festival on the GGNetwork. A coveted WSOP gold bracelet will be up for grabs in Event #38: $600 Monster Stack No Limit Hold'em 6-Handed and 90 minutes prior to the start at 12 p.m. GMT (2 p.m. CET), some 180 players were already signed up.

It is also the first event in which players can start earning points towards the asian-friendly Dragon Asia Player of the Series leaderboard and comes with a late afternoon start for most Asian countries. Poker enthusiasts from Central Europe have just about to finished their lunch before heading to the virtual tables whereas Brazilians may finish their breakfast first before taking advantage of the late registration, which lasts three and a half hours.

The tournament is played in a six-max format which will ensure plenty of action at all times and each participant receives 50,000 in chips with a level duration of 15 minutes from start to finish. Since this tournament features a buy-in of fewer than $1,000, the bubble protection is available to all those that registered before the start. During the late registration period, players can re-enter a maximum of two times in order to take another shot at glory if they run out of chips early on.

Once nine players remain, the final table will be set and all real names of the contenders for the WSOP bracelet will be revealed. The tournament will play down to a winner today and you can follow all the action right here on PokerNews.

Chen Down a Bullet

Level 3 : 250/500, 60 ante
BKBroker doubles through Pete Chen
BKBroker doubles through Pete Chen

Pete Chen has been eliminated on the first of three possible bullets when he lost the vast majority of his stack against "BKBroker" from Ireland. On a {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop they got into a raising war and Chen eventually piled it in by using the "not sure if" emoji to find his {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} drawing slim versus {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

The {10-Spades} turn and {9-Clubs} river completed the board to leave him short.

Chen got it in one hand later with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} of "Fatipro" and the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} spelled his end on the first bullet.

Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker limped the small blind and "Badgrandma33" on their second bullet checked out of the big blind.

Van Elsacker proceeded to bet the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop for 2,138 and the {10-Hearts} turn for 6,161 before then taking his time bank and jamming the {2-Diamonds} for an effective 30,521. "Badgrandma33" called and their {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for air were exposed as Van Elsacker held {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for aces and tens.

Vaitiekunas in the Lead

Level 12 : 1,750/3,500, 400 ante
Paulius Vaitiekunas wins big pot
Paulius Vaitiekunas wins big pot

Malaysia's "JuicyFkToy" three-bet and then bet all three streets of a board of {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} with the final barrel worth 133,000 and very few chips behind. Paulius "breislet" Vaitiekunas called all the way holding {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and was good as his opponent bluffed with the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

One hand later, "JuicyFkToy" was all in for crumbs with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}, "spand42" was in there with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and "BAD BUNNY" had both dominated holding the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to give "spand42" a full house.
