"hki23" Loses It All to "Forrest_Li"

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

"hki23" clashed with table neighbor "Forrest_Li" as they got it in twice preflop within three hands.

First "hki23" doubled their opponent with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} versus {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} on a board of {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and then they were at risk in the following showdown for a pot of 34,080.

"hki23": {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
"Forrest_Li": {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Board: {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}

And just like that the decent start of "hki23" was canceled out and they headed to the rail.

Helppi Out and Back In

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Juha Helppi was left with crumbs and doubled once to then end up at risk on the {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop with {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

"sushami" looked him up with the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} and got there on the {10-Spades} turn and {5-Clubs} river runout.

Helppi re-entered shortly after.

Many World Series of Poker bracelets will be handed out today, one of them being in Event #40: $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha. This single-day event will begin at 2 pm EST with the bracelet being handed out roughly 10-12 hours after that.

Being in the larger buy-in range, this event will attract many of the best players who enjoy the "Great game of PLO". More cards, more action, more money will certainly be the case today. There have been many great moments so far this summer since the WSOP moved its tournaments to GGPoker amidst this pandemic, and today should be no different.

Each player will begin the tournament with a starting stack of 25,000 chips with the blinds at 125/250. That should provide players with plenty of room to maneuver their chips around in this action-packed game. The blinds will increase every 15 minutes with a break every 55 minutes past the hour.

Late registration will remain open for three hours with each player having the option of two re-entries should they require it.
