Schindler Rivers a Straight

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,200 ante

Michelle "hu4trollzz" Shah shoved from the early position for 24,835 and Jonas "resilience32" Gaul raised from the button to 39,670 for Jake Schindler to make the call from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for both players to check to the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Schindler bet 40,000 which Gaul called.

The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs} for Schindler to continue with a bet of 25,000 which was called by Gaul again. Shah tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for the pair of sevens while Gaul held {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for the pair of kings but Schindler had {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for the rivered straight to scoop the pot.

Jose "robertoduran" Severino busted in 280th place before Carlos "cyphellus" Chang raised to 20,000 from the button. "GT4G" took some time and then decided to three-bet shove from the small blind for 62,793 for the big blind to fold and Chang to make the call with the bigger stack.

"GT4G": {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Carlos "cyphellus" Chang: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} for "GT4G" to hit top pair but for Chang to pick up the open-ended straight draw.

The turn was the {a-Spades} to bring a straight to chang and leave "GT4G" drawing dead while the {3-Diamonds} completed the board for the bubble to burst.
