Chien Eliminated by Wolff

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

George Wolff raised the pot on the button and was called by Peter "BIG CHI" Chien in the big blind, who then bet 7,500 on the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop with very few chips behind. Wolff raised and Chien called all-in.

Peter "BIG CHI" Chien: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
George Wolff: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs} turn improved Wolff from a set to a straight and he held onto his lead on a blank {5-Diamonds} river.

Quads for xBGx
Quads for xBGx

In one of the last hands before the break, Mariano "Mr 9" Mir from under the gun and Alexander "xBGx" Fitasov on the button clashed. There were just 8,500 in the middle to the {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop and by the time the {q-Spades} fell on the turn that had increased to 17,170.

The chips went in and it was Mir at risk.

Mariano "Mr 9" Mir: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Alexander "xBGx" Fitasov: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Fitasov secured the elimination in style with the {j-Clubs} river for quads.

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

All the chips of Jeff "PlayingNaked" Hakim went in after the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and he was called by big stack Ravali "Resurge-" Krishna.

Jeff "PlayingNaked" Hakim: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}
Ravali "Resurge-" Krishna: {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Hakim was well ahead with his top set as Krishna only had bottom two pair. However, the {j-Hearts} turn and {10-Hearts} river completed an unlikely flush.

Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson three-bet and picked up a call by Anson "Tara@Oz" Tsang. Mattsson bet the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop for one third of the pot and then made it just over half of the pot on the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} turn. Tsang jammed for double of that and was called.

Anson "Tara@Oz" Tsang: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {8-Spades} river further improved Mattsson to a flush as Tsang hit the rail.
