Level 28 : 16,000/32,000, 0 ante
Simon Lofberg eliminated
Simon Lofberg eliminated

"Farhills" was sent to the rail and up next, the same table also featured the all-in showdown between the two Swedes Simon Lofberg and Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson on the {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop.

Simon Lofberg: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson: {k-Spades}{x-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Lofberg pulled his "running hot" emoji" but cooled down on the {q-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river runout.

Milhomem and Loeffler Depart

Level 28 : 16,000/32,000, 0 ante
Fruble eliminated
Fruble eliminated

Blaaz "Sc4rm4k3r" Azerjav clashed with Murilo "Fruble" Milhomem when they got it in after the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop and needed to catch up with his {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a gutshot and flushdraw. Milhomem was ahead with {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair, wrap and inferior flushdraw.

That all changed on the {k-Clubs} turn as Azerjav had the pot locked up which made the {8-Hearts} river a formality.

Next to go was Kilian "Birdie Power" Loeffler, who raised the short stack and got it in after a {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop against Belarmino De Souza in the big blind.

Kilian "Birdie Power" Loeffler: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Belarmino De Souza: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {7-Hearts} turn left Loeffler drawing dead and the {q-Clubs} river became a mere formality.

Mattsson Doubles Through "Farhill"

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 0 ante
FiestaPagana doubles
FiestaPagana doubles

On a flop of {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} which already contained 495,600 chips and that's when the last of it went in for Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson against "Farhill"

Simon "FiestaPagana" Mattsson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
"Farhills": {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds} turn and the {9-Clubs} river kept Mattsson in the lead as he doubled, and Simon Lofberg mucked the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Herm Runs Into a Straight Flush

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 0 ante

Mark "Beanboozled" Herm raised to 64,724 in middle position and was called by Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin on the button. Herm bet the {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop for 50,505 and was called to then check-call a bet of 89,912 on the {9-Hearts} turn.

After the {5-Spades} river, Herm check-raised from 214,507 to 429,014 only to see Hindin jam for slightly more than what he had at his disposal. Herm called and was shown the bad news as Hindin tabled {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a straight flush while Herm held {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for jacks full.

Five Tables Remain

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 0 ante

In a matter of a few minutes right before and after the blinds went up, the field went down from 33 to the final 30 contenders, spread evenly over the last five tables.

First to go was Fabian "SkullIsland" Geisel who lost the battle with his short stack holding the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Naman "pokermafiaa" Madan only had {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} but that was enough to make two pair on the {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board.

Thai Ha then clashed with "Farhills" when they created a pot of 480,000 to the {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. "Farhills" bet the pot and Ha called all in.

Thai Ha: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}
"Farhills": {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Ha picked up some outs on the {j-Clubs} turn but the {9-Clubs} river was not among them.

Last but not least, two players with a Canadian flag got their chips in as Timothy Cramer faced Nital "4TheAnimals" Jethalal.

Timothy Cramer: {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Nital "4TheAnimals" Jethalal: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

On a board of {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Cramer rivered a straight but the same card gave Jethalal a flush.

Two Casualties After the Break

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Any2Cantu eliminated
Any2Cantu eliminated

"Any2Cantu" was the first to leave empty-handed after a dull period saw no eliminations for several minutes once the action had resumed.

They got it in with the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} against Craig "Goblue" Varnell with the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Varnell did it the dramatic way on the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} runout.

Aki "Seabossss" Vrtanen then followed right after with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a straight and flush draw on the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop. Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin had the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and dodged both draws on the {2-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river.

Doubles for Lofberg and "Farhills"

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

As one of the shortest stack after the break, Simon Lofberg was all-in with the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} from the cutoff and Murilo "Fruble" Milhomem looked him up with the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} in the small blind.

Lofberg flopped some hope on {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and while the {10-Diamonds} turn blanked, the {a-Diamonds} river did not to keep the Swede in contention for a second PLO bracelet of the series.

Mark "beanboozled" Herm then took a huge hit when he doubled "Farhills" with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} versus {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} in a preflop all-in. The {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board brought no miracle.
