West Wins Wild Hand to Double

Level 40 : 140,000/280,000, 35,000 ante

Tim "TMay420" West looked to be in great shape, when he got his short stack in holding pocket kings against the {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu. However, the flop of {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} gave Hacialioglu top two pair, and left West suddenly drawing thin. An ace on the turn meant that one more ace on the river would counterfeit Hacialioglu, and that's exactly what happened, sending a double up over to West.

Andriy "smbcall911" Lyubovetskiy Eliminated in 6th Place ($54,713.88)

Level 40 : 140,000/280,000, 35,000 ante

Action folded to one of the shorter stacks, Andriy "smbcall911" Lyubovetskiy, in the small blind, and he moved all in. Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu called in the big blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and he was ahead of the {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} left Lyubovetskiy all but dead, and another king on the turn sealed the hand.

Lyubovetskiy will have to settle for $54,713.88, and just five players remain now.

West Spikes River to Double

Level 39 : 120,000/240,000, 30,000 ante

Short stack Tim "TMay420" West got his final chips in the middle holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, and Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu called with pocket nines to put him at risk. The flop of {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} gave Hacialioglu a full house, but West could still win with an ace, king, or the case jack. The {4-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but the {k-Spades} river changed everything.

West has won a few more pots since then, and he is now up to over 3,000,000 in chips.

Soo Jo "choleeek89" Kim Eliminated in 7th Place ($39,705.79)

Level 39 : 120,000/240,000, 30,000 ante

The action kicked off with Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu raising it up, and big stack Niko "niNohR" Koop three bet to 1,601,000. Next to act, Soo Jo "choleeek89" Kim moved all in for 3,232,456. Hacialioglu folded, but Koop called with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. He was dominated by the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Kim, but Koop would flop some outs on the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop. The {10-Diamonds} turn shot Koop into the lead, and Kim wasn't able to catch up on the river.

Tuen "FudGuy" Bui Eliminated in 8th Place ($28,814.44)

Level 39 : 120,000/240,000, 30,000 ante

Tuen "FudGuy" Bui moved all in from the button for over 2,800,000, but unfortunately for him, big stack Jargo "bungakat" Alavali woke up with pocket aces in the big blind. He was dominating the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Bui, and the flop of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} left Bui drawing all but dead. The {3-Diamonds} turn brought him some chop possibilities, but a nine on the river brought no such chop.

Bui will have to settle for nearly $29,000 for his eight place showing.

West Triples Up

Level 38 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

Tim "TMay420" West was the severe short stack to start the final table, but he just got a much needed triple up to get right back into the thick of things. West would move all in for about 600,000, and next to act, Jargo "bungakat" Alavali called. Two seats over, Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu shoved all in over the top, and Alavali bowed out.

Tim "TMay420" West: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Adnan "Bolazar" Hacialioglu: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The sevens held for West, and while he is still the short stack, this pot gets him some much needed breathing room.
