Blake Bohn Spikes River to Double

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante

Blake "Beast2018!" Bohn and Johan "Mr-Water99" Haugen got in a raising war preflop that saw all of Bohn's chips up for grabs in a pot of nearly 600,000. Bohn's {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} was dominated by the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of Haugen, and the big slick would hold true on the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, and {6-Diamonds} turn.

However, out of nowhere, the {q-Hearts} hit the river, giving Bohn the unlikely double up to 577,000 and change.

Paredes Busts Pires In Million Chip Pot

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Following an under the gun raise from Daniel "t@rz@n" Paredes, Eduardo Pires moved all in for over 500,000. Paredes called to put him at risk with pocket jacks, and he was surely happy to see that he had the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Pires dominated . The board ran down ten high, and the jacks held to send Paredes back to the top of the chip counts.

Level 25 Updated Chip Counts

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

The eliminations are still rolling in this event, as just 100 players now remain. Kosei Ichinose has the chip lead, but there are four other players right behind him in the seven figure club.

Paredes Adds to his Chip Lead

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Justin "Sittting Out" Ouimette got his final 200,000 and change into the middle preflop holding {k-Spades}{q-Spades}, but unfortunately for him, Daniel "t@rz@n" Paredes woke up with pocket aces in the big blind. He would flop top set, and Ouimette was drawing dead by the turn.

Quad Kings for Alavali

Level 23 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Jargo "bungakat" Alavali moved all in from the small blind, and Wei "dugui777" Zhao made the call with {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for his final 200,000. Alavali was trailing with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, but that flipped after the flop came {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. A fourth king on the river rubbed some salt in Zhao's wounds, as he hit the rail.
