Whittington Doubles Through "mamadzx"

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Action folded to Blake "shampainpopn" Whittington in the small blind and he limped. That inspired "mamadzx" to raise the big blind to 90,000, and Whittington pushed back by making it 270,000 to go. "mamadzx" popped it to 450,000 and Whittington called off the remaining 129,440 he had behind.

"mamadzx": {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Blake "shampainpopn" Whittington: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Whittington shipped the double.

Jon "havuuuuuc" Turner: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} was disaster for Tuner as "blaqmilk" flopped a king-high flush. The {a-Clubs} turn left Turner drawing dead and he exited in 20th place for $3,653.13.

Powers Busts Matsuzukiin 24th Place

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 0 ante
Dan Matsuzuki
Dan Matsuzuki

Dan "Powerplay111" Matsuzuki potted to 87,500 from the cutoff and called off the 74,153 he had back after Jacob "Bandit275" Powers three-bet from the big blind.

Jacob "Bandit275" Powers: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Dan "Powerplay111" Matsuzuki: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Matsuzuki finished in 24th place for $$3,653.13.

Nathan Gamble

Action on the table folded around to Nathan "surfbum" Gamble who raised to 65,000 from the cutoff and Matt "jacksup" Matros three-bet to 220,000 from the small blind.

Action folded back to Gamble who called to see the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop appear. Matros lead out for 250,000 and Gambles called off his remaining 243,886 stack.

Matt "jacksup" Matros: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Nathan "surfbum" Gamble: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

"pancakesyrup" Devoured By Calvin "projector52" Anderson

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

"pancakesyrup" raised to 45,000 from the cutoff and Calvin "projector52" Anderson defended the big blind to see a {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop.

Anderson checked, "pancakesyrup" bet 50,000, and Anderson check-raised to 250,000. "pancakesyrup" proceeded to jam for 502,750 and Anderson called to create a 1,105,500 pot.

Calvin "projector52" Anderson: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
"pancakesyrup": {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Anderson had two pair while "pancakesyrup" had a wrap and straight flush draw. The {a-Spades} turn improved Anderson to a full house and that left "pancakesyrup" looking to complete a gutshot straight flush draw. That didn't happen though as the {10-Spades} peeled off on the river instead.

"pancakesyrup" was eliminated in 29th place for $3,023.28.

Natural8 2020 WSOP Online Performances of the Week: Ryan "Im.Sorry" Runner-Up & Champ in Back-to-Back Days

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Ryan Torgersen
Ryan Torgersen

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) online bracelet events will run from July 1st to September 6th and is comprised of 85 WSOP gold bracelets on the digital felt across two different clients: WSOP.com and GG Poker.

Each week, we’ll highlight those players who rise to the top through their performance, be it a dominating one in a single event, or an exhibition of consistency over several tournaments. In the first week, honors went to Shawn “SayGoodnight” Daniels after he made two final tables. This week, several players put in noteworthy performances, though one stood above all the rest.

Over the course of two days, New Jersey’s Ryan “im.sorry” Torgersen did something truly incredible. First, he navigated his way through a 1,026-entry field in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max only to fall one spot shy of winning a bracelet. The following day, he found redemption by capturing a bracelet in Event #10: $600 Monster Stack.
