On Saturday night, the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #25: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Summer Saver attracted 1,484 players who rebought 671 times. The 2,155-entry field resulted in a $969,750 prize pool, and after 12 hours of play, Nicholas “mrfinalt” Kiley emerged victorious to win the bracelet and $149,244.52 first-place prize.

Kiley, who hails from Utica, New York, had just a dozen WSOP-related cashes totaling $29,665 before the victory. That included three small cashes in the online series throughout July. In the live realm, Kiley has $57,088 in tournament earnings including a career-high $7,135 for finishing runner-up in the 2018 Run It Up Reno VI Kickoff event. A year later, he won the RUI Reno VIII 8-Game Championship for $5,220.

1Nicholas “mrfinalt” Kiley$149,245
2Guo Liang “Ct188” Chen$92,223
3Weiyi “wymoney” Mo$67,301

5Matt “ berkey11_s4y” Berkey$36,851
6Kevin “SpecialK333” Calenzo$27,638
7Richard “Daddyp69” Perrin$20,850
8Michael “ha8me” Policastro$15,904
9Ofir “panda15” Mor$12,316

After “UpBreaker” bubbled in 331st place, the eliminations mounted fast. Among those to make deep runs but fall short of the final table were Ryan “adopt_adogg0” Leng (102nd - $1,260.67), Brian “tsarrast” Rast (87th - $1,454.62), Tyler “IloseStackz” Phillips (66th - $1,842.52), Joe “fanofdapoker” McKeehen (57th - $2,230.42), Tommy "BBANTE" Bates (35th - $3,782.02), Ryan “rbam13” Bambrick (13th - $7,467.07), and Ofir “panda15” Mor (9th - $12,315.82).

Mor actually busted before the final two tables combined to one, which meant the final tabled started eight-handed with Matt “berkey11_s4y” Berkey as the chip leader. It marked back-to-back final tables for the pro after he finished in seventh place in Event #24: $400 NLH 8-Handed.

Early on at the final table, Michael “ha8me” Policastro was on the bad end of a cooler flop when his ace-queen flopped queens and threes, but Kiley rolled over ace-three for trips. Richard “Daddyp69” Perrin then shoved the cutoff with pocket fives only to run into Berkey’s aces in the small blind.

Kevin “SpecialK333” Calenzo was the next to go after running ace-queen into Weiyi “wymoney” Mo’s Big Slick, and then Berkey lost a big pot after flopping bottom two pair only to discover Guo Liang “Ct188” Chen had flopped top set. Berkey bowed out a couple hands later losing jack-nine to the king-ten of Kiley.

Kiley proceeded to eliminate Stephen “S.Dot22” Russo – the result of ace-eight holding against king-queen – and then Chen took care of Mo in third place, which marked the deepest run for a woman thus far in the 2020 WSOP Online series on WSOP.com.

Chen took 23.59 million in chips into heads-up play against Kiley, who had 19.5 million. However, Kiley managed to battle into the lead and closed it out when he shoved the river with two pairs kings and fours and Chen called off with jacks and fours.

The next tournament on the schedule – Event #26: $500 No-Limit Hold’em Grande Finale – will take place at 3 p.m. PDT on Sunday. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will once again be reporting all the action, so be sure to tune in then to see who captures the next 2020 WSOP bracelet!

Nicholas "mrfinalt" Kiley opened for 800,000 and then called Guo Liang "Ct188" Chen's 2,475,000 three-bet to see a {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop.

Chen continued for 2,125,000 and Kiley called to see the {8-Clubs} appear on the turn. Chen slowed down this time and check-called Kiley's 5,050,000 bet to see the {j-Hearts} complete the board on the river.

Chen checked once again and was forced with an all-in decision after Kiley jammed for 15,631,117. Chen took some time to think but ultimately called off his 8,068,883 stack and both players tabled their hands.

Chen showed {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for jacks and fours but Kiley held a better two-pair with {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} eliminating Chen in second place.

Guo Liang "Ct188" Chen raised to 800,000 from the button and Weiyi "wymoney" Mo called from the big blind to see a {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. Mo opted to move her short stack all in and Chen quickly called.

Guo Liang "Ct188" Chen: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}
Weiyi "wymoney" Mo: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Chen was ahead with sixes and a gutshot straight draw, but the {5-Diamonds} turn kept Mo drawing live to both a flush draw and a straight draw of her own.

Unfortunately for her, the {a-Spades} river was a brick and she had to settle for third place, the deepest run for a woman thus far in the 2020 WSOP online series on WSOP.com.

Meanwhile, Chen took 23.59 million in chips into heads-up play against Nicholas "mrfinalt" Kiley, who had 19.5 million.

Stephen "S.Dot22" Russo opened under the gun for 1,040,000 and then called off his 4,723,216 stack after Nicholas "mrfinalt" Kiley three-bet jammed for 16,993,456 from the big blind.

Nicholas "mrfinalt" Kiley: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Stephen "S.Dot22" Russo: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Russo was behind holding live cards but couldn't find a pair with the {5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} runout and he was eliminated in fourth place.

Nicholas "mrfinalt" Kiley: {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Matt "berkey11_s4y" Berkey: {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop gave Kiley trip tens and the {5-Diamonds} turn left Berkey drawing dead. The meaningless {j-Spades} was run out on the river and Berkey, who began the final table as the chip leader, exited in fifth place.

Guo Liang "Ct188" Chen opened for 688,994 from the small blind and Matt "berkey11_s4y" Berkey defended his big blind to see a {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop.

Chen check-called Berkey's 1,166,248 bet to see the {j-Diamonds} appear on the turn. Chen checked his option once again and then snapped-off his 5,909,837 stack after Berkey jammed for 8,766,902.

Guo Liang "Ct188" Chen: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Matt "berkey11_s4y" Berkey: {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Berkey flopped two-pair but was drawing dead as Chen held a set of aces and the {5-Diamonds} river left Berkey with peanuts.
