Vousden Busts to Boianovsky in Massive Pot

Level 30 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Vousden vs Boianovsky
Vousden vs Boianovsky

In the final hand of the previous level, Samuel Vousden min-raised to 70,000 from under the gun and Felipe "LisFlower" Boianovsky three-bet to 245,000 out of the small blind, which Vousden called.

They headed to the {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop on which both players checked. The {q-Clubs} turn, likewise, brought no betting action. Boianovsky then jammed the {q-Spades} river for nearly 1.2 million into a pot of just 556,500. Vousden was marginally covered with a stack of 1,052,141 behind and went deep into the tank. He depleted nearly the entire time bank and called with a few seconds remaining.

Boianovsky flipped over {a-Spades}{6-Spades} for the nut flush and the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Vousden for trips queens was no good.

Ravid Garbi raised to 70,000 in the cutoff and Isaac Baron three-bet to 262,500 in the small blind, Garbi then reraised to 455,000 only for Baron to quickly pull the trigger with a near-instant jam. Garbi gave it some thought and folded.

Cornell Doubles Through Zhao

Level 29 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Once the action folded to Wei Zhao in the small blind, the GGPoker High Roller regular open-jammed for more than half a million effective. Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell snap-called from the big blind as he had the best of it.

Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Wei Zhao: {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop provided a gutshot for Zhao but he missed both the {2-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river.

The Hot Run of Muehloecker Continues

Level 29 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante
Muehloecker vs Asensio
Muehloecker vs Asensio

Marcelo Asensio raised to 350,000 and kept 88,696 behind. Thomas Muehloecker called in the hijack and all other players folded.

On the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop, Asensio checked and Muehloecker made it 105,000 to go. His opponent from Brazil called all-in and the cards were turned over.

Marcelo Asensio: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades} turn kept Asensio in the lad but Muehloecker got there with the {q-Hearts} river.

Haraldstad Doubles; Petkov Busts

Level 29 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian opted to limp-shove into a raise worth 96,000 by Joachim Haraldstad. The Norwegian had 500,624 behind and called it off.

Joachim Haraldstad: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

There was no ace or other shenanigans on the {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts} board and Haraldstad pulled ahead of Demirjian.

In the next hand, Lachezar "Psychedelica" Petkov raised to 280,000 with very few chips behind in the cutoff and called all-in following the big blind push by Shyngis Satubayev.

Lachezar "Psychedelica" Petkov: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Shyngis Satubayev: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The kicker played on the {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades} board to reduce the field by one contender.

Nine To The Money

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Kenny Hallaert made it 60,000 to go in the cutoff and earned two calls by Ioannis Angelou-Konstas on the button and Dario Sammartino in the big blind. Sammartino check-shoved for 185,380 on the {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and was called by Hallaert.

Dario Sammartino: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Kenny Hallaert: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds} turn restored the preflop order and Hallaert even made two pair on the {a-Hearts} river. Thiago "lneedWasabi" Crema and Anton Yskuba departed at nearly the same time, Gytis Lazauninkas followed shortly thereafter. Only 69 players remain and the top 60 spots will get paid.
