Habegger Busts Vieira and Kaiser to Claim the Lead

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Habegger busts Kaiser and Vieira
Habegger busts Kaiser and Vieira

Ronny Kaiser opened to 5,000 from the cutoff and was called by Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger on the button, Joao Vieira also filled up from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the action checked to Habegger, who made it 5,600 to go. Vieira moved all-in for 5,672 and Kaiser raised the pot.

Habegger now repotted and Kaiser called it off.

Joao Vieira: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Ronny Kaiser: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Kaiser was looking for hearts but the {2-Spades} turn and {5-Diamonds} river delivered no help. Habegger scored the double knockout and stormed to the top of the leaderboard.

Gjelstad Soars to a Big Stack

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

In three-way action to the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, Eoghan "DrRoche" O'Dea bet 7,000 and was called by Gergo Nagy and Jonas "Lampard10" Gjelstad in the big blind. O'Dea check-folded the {6-Spades} turn when Nagy bet 28,600 and Gjelstad check-called

Heads-up to the {4-Spades} river, Gjelstad check-called for the size of the pot worth 92,200 and his {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} for the top two pair was good, as Nagy only had {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}.

One hand later, Gjelstad knocked out Ottomar Ladva when {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} turned a king-high flush on the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts} board. Ladva had been all-in after the flop with {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair and a flush draw.

Roller Coaster for Tsang

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Anson Tsang three-bet the pot to 15,200 out of the big blind and "RossCola" called. Tsang potted on the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop and his opponent called all-in for the last 9,676.

"RossCola": {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Anson Tsang: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {q-Hearts} turn improved "RossCola" and the {10-Clubs} river was meaningless.

One hand later there was three-way action to the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and "Devyatki" bet 4,800 on the button, Tsang check-called in the small blind. Tsang check-jammed the {10-Hearts} turn and "Devyatki" called with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a flush. Tsang had the made full house with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} already and the {4-Hearts} river was not significant.

Tsang then called two streets against Niklas Astedt on the {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board and jammed the river successfully.

Ramos Eliminated on Second Bullet

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Felipe Ramos limped in and "the hawk" raised the pot out of the small blind. Ramos jammed for 8,412 and was called.

Felipe Ramos: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
"the hawk": {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Ramos spiked the top two pair on the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and remained ahead on the {2-Spades} turn. However, the {j-Spades} river gave "the hawk" broadway. It was the second entry for Ramos, who can jump in one more time.

Bruschi Doubles Through Haraldstad

Level 9 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Renan Bruschi lost a large pot to Joao Simao, who then also got full value with a straight against the two pair of Joseph "B3ndTheKnee" Liberta.

Up next, Bruschi three-bet to 12,600 on the button and Joachim Haraldstad in the cutoff came along. Haraldstad bet the pot on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Bruschi jammed for 38,733 and received the call by his table neighbor.

Renan Bruschi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Joachim Haraldstad: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Bruschi was trailing but held a flush draw, four overcards and a gutshot. The {k-Diamonds} turn instantly locked up the double and the {4-Spades} river didn't matter.

Torbergsen Knocked Out by Negreanu

Level 9 : 700/1,400, 175 ante
Torbergsen vs Negreanu
Torbergsen vs Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened the action with a raise to 3,500 on the button and Andreas Torbergsen defended the big blind. The flop fell {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Torbergsen check-rased from 3,500 to 19,250 with 19,675 behind. Negreanu moved all-in and the Norwegian called.

Andreas Torbergsen: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Daniel Negreanu: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Torbergsen had plenty of outs with his flush and wheel draw but the {2-Diamonds} turn ended his hopes, making the {10-Spades} river a formality. It was the third bullet for the Norwegian, who has been eliminated.

Boeken Chips Up; Simao Doubles

Level 9 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Noah "ExclusiveA" Boeken called a three-bet to 12,600 by Renan Bruschi and check-called for 9,207 on the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. The {5-Clubs} turn was checked and Boeken bet the {3-Hearts} river for 37,200 into 46,314. Bruschi called with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} but Boeken had the best of it with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Two hands later, a three-bet pot led Espen Myrmo and Joao Simao to the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. Simao only had 15,100 behind and Myrmo called with the slightly superior stack.

Joao Simao: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Espen Myrmo: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {3-Diamonds} turn gave Myrmo more outs with the additional flush draw but the {9-Hearts} river was a blank fopr him, improving Simao to a full house. Myrmo had fewer than ten blinds left and busted shortly after.
