Gumz Eliminates Freitas

Level 17 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Lincon "1kkwinner" Freitas opened for 8,400 from under the gun and was called by Fabian "MeowTzGenau" Gumz from the hijack and "maje" from the small blind.

The action checked around to Gumz on the {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop and he bet 7,963. "maje" folded and Freitas called. Freitas check-called for 11,944 on the {j-Diamonds} turn before checking again on the {9-Hearts} river. Gumz jammed for 309,733 and Freitas got some bad news after he called off for 37,993.

Gumz turned over {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two pair which was good enough to eliminate Freitas with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Tardif Takes Stasiak's Chips

Level 17 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Alek "astazz" Stasiak moved all in for 11,550 from the cutoff and was called by Patrick "Egption" Tardif on the button. The blinds folded and hands were revealed.

Alek "astazz" Stasiak: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Patrick "Egption" Tardif: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Tardif was in good shape as the flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}. Stasiak picked up some outs but still needed help. The {q-Hearts} turn didn't do it and neither did the {3-Spades} river, giving Tardif some more chips to add to his stack.

Grospellier Eliminated

Level 17 : 1,750/3,500, 450 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was down to 3.5 big blinds after losing a flip with nines vs. big slick against "daqinv5". He lost the rest of his stack on a bad beat.

Grospellier jammed for 10,089 from early position and was called by "daqinv5" from the small blind and Matthias "lhjgkfdasjz" Habernig from the big blind.

"daqinv5" and Habernig checked both the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop and the {4-Hearts} turn. "daqinv5" check-folded after Habernig bet 8,467 on the {q-Clubs} river.

Grospellier used his "ElkY" branded "So Sick" emote as he turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a set. Habernig held {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a straight and Grospellier was ousted before the money.

Queens for Sammartino is No Match for the Cowboys

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 350 ante

The player under the gun raised to 5,000, a player called in middle position, and Dario Sammartino re-raised to 18,750 from the button. Fausto "Fantastik55" Tantillo decided to make the price even higher and raised to 45,000. It folded back to Sammartino who went all in for 145,620 and was called.

Fausto "Fantastik55" Tantillo: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Dario Sammartino: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, giving Tantillo a set and Sammartino a straight draw. The {4-Diamonds} changed nothing and Sammartino needed a ten, but the {8-Clubs} completed the board, leaving Sammartino coolered and sending a big pot to Tantillo.

Wolf Picked Up Big Pot with Aces

Level 15 : 1,250/2,500, 300 ante

Just before the break, William Wolf raised to 4,400 in middle position and got a call from the cutoff, before "ShavermaSkrabom" raised all in for 118,192. Wolf called, the cutoff folded, and hands were revealed.

William Wolf: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
"ShavermaSkrabom": {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

"ShavermaSkrabom" was in rough shape against the pocket rockets and the flop made his situation even more bleak as it came out {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. The {3-Diamonds} sealed his fate and the {7-Diamonds} river gave both players meaningless flushes as Wolf took down the sizable pot.
