Mike Watson Eliminated in 4th Place ($73,392)

Level 41 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante

Weilin "Ace predator" Wang raised to one million in the small blind and Mike Watson called in the big blind off of his short stack. Wang continued with a bet of 1.1 million on the {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and Watson raised all-in for 3.4 million. Wang made the call.

Mike Watson: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Weilin "Ace predator" Wang: {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Watson's middle pair was ahead but the {5-Diamonds} gave his opponent trips. The {9-Spades} improved Watson's hand but it wasn't enough to save him from elimination in fourth place.

Jackson Doubles with Big Slick

Level 40 : 150,000/300,000, 35,000 ante

David "ZONEDin" Jackson three-bet shoved in the big blind with a stack of 3.8 million and Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora called after raising in the cutoff.

David "ZONEDin" Jackson: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

It was looking like a bust-out for Jackson when he did not pair his ace or king on the {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, but the {k-Diamonds} on the turn gave him top pair and the {a-Clubs} on the river only improved his hand.

Wang Applies Pressure to Watson

Level 40 : 150,000/300,000, 35,000 ante

Mike Watson opened to 770,000 in the cutoff and Weilin "Ace predator" Wang defended in the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Wang check-called a bet of one million. Wang then led out on the {10-Diamonds} turn for 1.2 million and Watson called. The river brought the {j-Hearts} and Wang put Watson to the test by jamming to put him all-in. Watson folded and held on to his remaining five million chips.

Watson Doubles Up

Level 39 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

In a single-raised pot pre-flop, Mike Watson check-raised to one million in the big blind and Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora raised from the button to put Watson all-in. Watson called with 2.8 million.

Mike Watson: {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Pora was ahead with the fishhooks but the {8-Hearts} on the turn gave Watson his flush. The {4-Spades} river did not change things and Watson saved himself from elimination and doubled his stack.

Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima Eliminated in 5th Place ($53,064)

Level 39 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora three-bet to 875,000 in the big blind and Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima called after raising in the small blind. Lima check-called Pora's 1.3 million bet on the {4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, leading to the {10-Spades} turn. Pora jammed to put Lima all-in and the latter player called off for 4.9 million.

Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Dumitru "DDimancescu" Pora: {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Pora was ahead with two-pair and Lima did not improve on the {3-Clubs} river, sending him out in fifth place.

Ken "ken@king" Okada Eliminated in 6th Place ($38,366)

Level 38 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

Mike Watson open-jammed for 3.3 million in the small blind and Ken "ken@king" Okada called off with 2.9 million chips in the big blind.

Ken "ken@king" Okada: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

Okada was in good shape with a pair of jacks as the flop came {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and was an even bigger favorite when the brick {2-Spades} came on the turn. However, the {8-Clubs} river gave Watson two-pair and Okada was eliminated in sixth place.

Big Slick Good for Jackson

Level 38 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

In a single-raised pot, Weilin "Ace predator" Wang check-raised to 1.3 million in the big blind on the flop of {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and David "ZONEDin" Jackson called in the cutoff. Wang slowed down on the {q-Spades} turn and Jackson bet 904,700, which Wang called. Both players checked the {a-Clubs} river and Jackson tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a rivered top two-pair. It was good against the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} of Wang, who had flopped two-pair.
