Kevin "vamonospest" Lutz Bubbles Big 500 Kick-Off ($6,034)

Level 36 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

"LND999" raised from the cutoff and the called Kevin "vamonospest" Lutz's three-bet jam from the big blind.

"LND999": {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Kevin "vamonospest" Lutz: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Lutz was ahead with his made hand until the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop appeared pairing the ace of "LND999".

The {3-Spades} turn wasn't bad for Lutz as it gave him two mire outs with a wheel draw but the {10-Diamonds} river ended his tournament in 10th place for $6,034.

Ronald "Ceek100x" Ellis Eliminated in 11th Place ($6,033.82)

Level 36 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Ronald "Ceek100x" Ellis: {8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}
"LND999": {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Ellis had a kicker problem and it didn't get resolved on the {4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop. The {6-Hearts} turn gave him a flush draw, but the {7-Spades} river was a brick.

Norman "Abnormality" Michalek Eliminated in 13th Place ($4,770)

Level 36 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

"LND999" raised to 200,000 from under the gun and only Norman "Abnormality" Michalek called from the cutoff.

The {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop saw "LND999" check-call Michalek's 80,000 bet and then did the same for 455,000 after the {8-Spades} turn.

Once the {3-Clubs} completed the board on the river, "LND999" check-called Michalek once again this time for his whole 839,139 stack.

Michalek rolled over {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for air while "LND999" showed {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to eliminate Michalek.

Aram "X69Podheiser" Zobian Eliminated in 14th Place ($4,769.59)

David "dbaba" Baba: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Christopher "basile28" Basile: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

WSOP Legend: 3-Time Poker Players Championship Winner Michael Mizrachi

Level 35 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

The World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC), which was created in 2006, is considered the tournament where the best of the best take on one another and duke it out in a variety of poker games, a reflection of all-around poker skill. Imagine playing the likes of Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu five days in a row in a short-handed mixed format.

Needless to say, the hefty price tag coupled with a small, elite field created a legacy for the PPC where champions are considered among the greatest overall poker players. A quick glance at its 14-year history shows nothing but greatness among champions, from John Hennigan to Mike Gorodinsky, and with the late David "Chip" Reese as perhaps the event's most fitting inaugural winner back in 2006.

Winning once is the poker professional's dream. Winning two? You're in a league of your own. But winning the toughest event with poker's best three times? Only one man achieved that improbable feat on this day back in 2018, after winning his first two titles in 2010 and 2012: Michael Mizrachi.
