The 2021 Online World Series of Poker continues today with Event #15: $5,300 No Limit Hold'em High Roller Freezout which starts at the regular 3:00 p.m. start time.

This tournament has one of the largest buy-ins of the online series and will feature a freezout format, meaning absolutely no re-entry. Due to the high buy in and freezout format, each player will receive a deeper stack of 25,000 chips and levels will be slower, lengthening to 20 minutes each. This promises to be a day of intense and deliberate action as some of the more experienced players are sure to enter and aim for the coveted bracelet.

This is the 15th of 66 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (33 events) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 33 events). All events will begin at 3 p.m. PST. Satellites are running on-site for as little as $1.

Jason Koon
Jason Koon

While the table broke after the hand, we did see the hand that eliminated Jason "EddieVedder" Koon from the tournament.

He was heads up against Tony "Panoramic" Dunst and all the chips got into the middle after a {a-} turn.

Koon flopped a set of nines while Dunst turned top set with pocket aces. Koon couldn't find the case nine on the river and he became the first elimination of the tournament.

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Landon Tice
Landon Tice

"OrcinusOrca" raised to 2,000 under the gun, Landon "ActionDealer" Tice called from the big blind.

The flop came the {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Tice check-called a bet of 1,300. The turn was the {q-Clubs}. This time it was a bet of 4,655 that Tice check-called.

Mirlis Flips Chip Lead

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 120 ante

Eli "Sketchem" Mirlis limped from early position. Jaime "Dametime12" Cervantes-Alvarez Jr three-bet to 3,600 in the next position and Mitchell "franzia" Halverson called the three-bet to his immediate left. Justin "Jsaliba2" Saliba called from the big blind and Mirlis called as well.

Four players saw the flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. It checked to Halverson in position who bet 10,860, only Mirlis called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}. Mirlis check-called 21,300.

The river came the {5-Spades}. Halverson jammed all in to force Mirlis to put all his chips in the middle which he did with a call and showed the straight with the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} which crushed the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} of Halverson to create a massive shift in chips, sending Mirlis to the chip lead while Halverson went from chip leader to a short stack.
